This auction sells “loose horses” meaning they sell them to the kill buyers to ship to slaughter for meat.  

This is the mentality you are dealing with in the West.  They don’t give the animal a description such as “he or she” they just call them “it”.  This is a living, breathing being reduced to nothing but a commodity and should not be.  These folks think it is just “fine and dandy” to overbreed and sent to slaughter.
